Little girl of Trinidad

This is the childish poem I have talked about. Sorry for taking a long time.

For all I know
In the city of Trinidad
There was a girl who waited for her Dad

Every night
Till he comes from island
The girl played with stars and sand

Once he reaches home
With his bag full of lilies
He made her sleep with bedtime stories

Those beautiful lilies
He made a garland neat and fair
And kept it inside her hair

With those lilies
With his love, only then was the girl
Able to sleep and dream well

A pretty cool winter day
The girl is a pretty bride
Kissed her groom with love and pride

Now that her Dad is gone far away into the stars
She had put lilies in her hair just to feel her first love…
